Happy New Year!
I can't believe that we are already about halfway into the first month of 2020. I hope that everyone is starting the year off great!
What are your crafting resolutions for the new year? A new technique maybe? Or just to actually finish those projects that you started in 2019?
Every year I try to learn a new stitch or technique. It doesn't always happen, like some resolutions, but when it does, I'm so excited to make something for my friends and family with what I learned! This year I'm hoping to try and learn how to crochet blankets with a picture in them. My grandmother used to make a teddy bear blanket that was so cute! (Pictured below) The year always gets away from me making other fun projects!
My grandmother also had her signature blanket that she made for almost everyone in our family. (Pictured below) Something else that I'm hoping to come up with this year is my "rainbow blanket" to make for my family.
I also have the same resolution every year in general, to declutter my house. It's slowly happening, but it seems like a never ending process. If anyone has any tips, please feel free to share!
